Q&A assistance by phone is a consultation service specified in a facility contract or a 10 to15-minute phone consult service. Unfortunately, callers not associated with a facility contract or phone consult service cannot be provided Q&A assistance, i.e., how to code the MDS. We are no longer able to provide free MDS coding advice. Previous attendees may email their coding questions and may be answered depending on the availability of the MDS consultant who is under no obligation to provide advice.
